Socialive is the fastest and most cost-effective way for anyone to record, edit, publish, and livestream professional videos at scale.
The Socialive platform includes different areas that serve purposes related to creating video content. In this article, we will go over the areas of the platform and its purpose.
Portal
When you log in to Socialive, within the Portal, you can access the things you use most: your sessions, guest and contributor invites, the Recording Booth, and the Recordings Library. Additionally, you can add your company logo to the portal.

Studio
Studio is the main content creation area of Socialive. This area is where you can decide to livestream or record for future use. Session recordings are managed by Producers and Broadcasters.

Green Room
The Green Room is the interface where guests experience a session. In this backstage area, guests and producers can manage, communicate, and coordinate before, during, and after a session. Socialive guests experience the studio differently than producers do.

Recording Booth
The Recording Booth simplifies the content creation process, by providing Contributors the flexibility of capturing self-guided high-quality recordings at any time. This eliminates the need to schedule a specific time and place to record content and allows the contributor to record as many takes as needed. Recording Booth provides options for recording the Contributor, their screen, or both simultaneously.

Editor
The Editor is the interface where Admins, Broadcasters, and Creators can take recorded content from the Studio or the Recording Booth and edit it. Creating a single high-quality video with an intro, outro, branding, nametags, and logos is quick and easy with the Socialive Editor.
When creating recording booth content, it can be edited in either the Studio or the Editor. The advantage of using the Editor is you get both sources automatically with a preset layout so that it doesn’t need to be done "manually" as would be done in the Studio.
