Managing Content in the Recordings Library Using Editor

Admins, Broadcasters, and Creators can access the Editor from the Recordings Library within the Session Library or Recording Booth tabs. Videos saved from the Editor can be accessed from the Session Library.

This article will provide an overview of the following.

  • Accessing the Socialive Editor

  • Accessing Videos Created in the Socialive Editor

Accessing the Socialive Editor

Admins, Broadcasters, and Creators can access the Editor from the Recordings Library.

Session Library

From the session library, select the recording to be edited - this can be a video from a Studio recording, an individual ISO, or a video uploaded to the library (including screen share videos)

Click Send to Editor.

  • The recording can be opened based on edits made to a previous composition or as if it had no previous edits.

  • If a preset has been applied to the Space where the recorded content is saved, you can open it using the preset or without.

Recording Booth

From the Recording Booth library of recordings, locate the recording to be edited.

Click Send to Editor.

  • If a preset has been applied to the Space where the recorded content is saved, you can open it using the preset or without.

Accessing Videos Created in the Socialive Editor

Videos created in the Editor are saved to the Session Library tab in the Recordings Library. There is no need to preview or watch the video in your browser, although you can. You will receive an email confirmation with a direct link to the finished video when your video has been created.
