What is SSO?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows you to use a single set of credentials to log in to several different applications, including Socialive. SSO provides an integrated login experience and enhanced security.
- Improves Security - You can enforce your company’s password requirements, multi-factor authentication, and password reset procedures. You can also rest assured your content in the Socialive library will be accessible only by the authorized users.
- Reduces Password Fatigue - Since users only need to remember one password for multiple applications, they are more likely to create a stronger (harder to guess) password.
You will need to provide a metadata XML file containing the user login information (email addresses are required).
The first step is to set up an implementation call between your SSO engineer and a Socialive SSO engineer. Once you’ve identified the right contact from your organization, reach out to your Customer Success Manager to connect you with a Socialive SSO engineer. During the meeting, there will be a staging metadata exchange with the XML files from your and Socialive’s side, where we will agree on the assertion format list.
Once the exchange is complete, we will test the implementation on a staging environment before releasing it to production.
The entire implementation process may take between 15 to 30 minutes.
Getting SSO for Your Account
SSO is available as an add-on to your Enterprise Plan. Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information on upgrading your account.

Sign in With SSO
Once your account is configured, you will have a unique SSO URL for your organization. All (admins, broadcasts, and guests) users added to your Socialive account can log in through SSO using this link. This link will be provided to you after the SSO is set up.
Once your account is configured for SSO login, users can log in by clicking on the Sign in with SSO option on the login page and follow the instructions.
