This article provides instructions on how to connect your SFTP server to Socialive. Integrating your SFTP server with Socialive allows you to send Socialive recordings directly to your SFTP server.
To connect your SFTP server to Socialive, you will need to:
Have access to a Secure FTP (SFTP) server. Non-SFTP connections are not supported with this integration.
Be an Administrator in your Socialive account.
Connecting Your SFTP Server
In Socialive, open Account Settings.
Click Integrations.
Click Add Integration.
Select SFTP.
Enter a name for your new authentication and click Next.
Give the integration a name (or use the default one) and click Save. Giving each integration a specific title may be helpful when creating integrations of the same type for different departments. For example, “Send to Marketing SFTP” versus the default “Send to SFTP.”
Click New Authentication and click Next.
Enter the name of your new authentication.
Enter the details of the SFTP connection as per the server's specifications.
Click Create. A notification will appear to confirm that the authentication was created successfully.
Click Finish to complete the setup. Now you can send Socialive recordings to SFTP.
Sending Recordings to SFTP Servers
Follow the steps in the article to send recordings to SFTP servers. When you send recordings to SFTP servers:
You will receive email notifications when the upload is completed.
Transfer times may vary.
Remember that compared to other video file storage methods, SFTP is a slow process.
