This article provides instructions to connect your SFTP server to Socialive. Integrating your SFTP server to Socialive allows you to send Socialive recordings directly to your SFTP server.
Prerequisites
To connect your SFTP server to Socialive, you will need to:
- Have access to a Secure FTP (SFTP) server. Non-SFTP connections are not supported with this integration.
- Be an Administrator in your Socialive account
Process
- In Socialive, click your initials to open the Settings menu.
- In the Settings menu, click Integrations.
- On the Integrations page, click Add Integration.
- Click SFTP.
- Give the integration a name (or use the default one) and click Save. Giving each integration a specific title may be useful when creating integrations of the same type for different departments. For example, “Send to Marketing SFTP” versus the default “Send to SFTP.”
- Click New Authentication.
- Enter a name for your authentication.
- Select SFTP as the protocol type.
- Enter the details of the SFTP connection as per the server's specifications.
- Click Create. A notification will appear to confirm the authentication was created successfully.
- Click Finish to complete the setup. Now you can send Socialive recordings to SFTP.
Sending Recordings to SFTP Servers
Follow the steps in the article to send recordings to SFTP servers. When you send recordings to SFTP servers:
- You will receive email notifications when the upload is completed.
- Transfer times may vary.
- Keep in mind that compared to other video file storage methods, SFTP is a slow process.
