Producers often need to monitor both the Studio and the Green Room to ensure everything runs smoothly. With Guest Mode, Producers can join the Green Room while still having a Studio Session running, giving the Producer a clear view of what Guests in the Green Room see, while being able to quickly return to the Studio.
Guest Mode is a Studio feature that allows you to enter the “guest” view of the Green Room directly from the Studio. This lets you see the exact participant experience while maintaining full production control. Guest mode can not be used once an active recording or livestream session has begun.
This article will present the steps to access Guest Mode.
Open a Studio Session. Click Guest Mode.
The Studio will refresh, and the Producer can view the Green Room from a Guest perspective.
To exit Guest Mode, click Studio Mode to return to the Studio view.
Benefits of Guest Mode
Monitor participants by ensuring your on-screen talent looks its best. Sometimes, providing feedback using the Studio feeds can be difficult.
Producer-led recordings can be facilitated easily using Guest mode, especially if you’re recording one-on-one without needing to make a program recording.
Excellent to check out anytime you want, complete visibility into the participant experience.
Notes about Guest Mode
Once a program recording or livestream has begun in Studio, Guest Mode is no longer available.
If your session is configured to use the Additional Hosts feature, an Additional Host may enter the Studio while you are in Guest Mode. In this scenario, you will be unable to return using the Studio Mode button directly - you will need to exit the Green Room and return to the Session list to re-join as Host.
