Sometimes, an organization may limit the number of persons who can livestream using Socialive. In this article, we will review the options for disabling livestreaming abilities.
Disabling Livestreaming at the User Level
There may be scenarios where you want to limit the number of persons who can livestream at your organization. To disable these abilities, you’ll want to update the settings in Space.
Create a Space where livestreaming abilities need to be managed.
Under Space details, decide who will have access to this space. You can open it to all account users or limit it to specific people. By default, it is open to all users.
Under the distribution tab, decide if any distribution channels can remain open in the Space. If all are restricted, users in this Space will not have the option of livestreaming.
Disabling Livestreaming at the Account Level
Although your agreement may include livestreaming, Socialive can disable this feature upon request. When disabling livestreaming at the account level, no users within the platform can livestream to any livestream destination.
To request livestreaming disabled at the account level, please reach out to [email protected] or reach out to your Socialive contact.
