How to add graphics to enhance your recording

Graphic overlays are a great way to enhance the viewing experience of your recording - whether that be by identifying talent appearing on screen, prompting your audience with calls-to-action, or diversifying the flow of the recording with full-screen title cards.

Upload a graphic

  1. Open the Graphics panel at the bottom of the screen, underneath the Preview

  2. Click the Upload icon and choose an image from your computer

  3. You can make fine-tuned adjustments to the position and opacity under the Configure menu

Note the following recommended image sizes and file formats:

  • For full-width lower thirds, use 1280x150 px.

  • For smaller watermarks (i.e. logos/corner bugs), use 100x100 px

  • For full-screen overlays, use 1280x720px.

  • Currently supported file formats: .png, .jpeg, .gif

Apply a graphic to your scene

When you're ready to use graphics within your scene:

  1. Open the Graphics panel at the button on the screen

  2. Click an any graphic to see it in the Preview. A yellow outline will appear around the selected graphics.

  3. NOTE: Selected graphics are not immediately applied to the scene.

  4. If you are happy with the appearance in Preview, click the "Send Live" button to apply the selected graphics to the scene.

  5. The selected graphics will appear in Studio and will be visible to your viewers.

Remove a graphic from your scene

When you're ready to remove a graphic from your scene:

  1. Open the Graphics panel at the button on the screen

  2. Click on the selected (highlighted) graphic to deselect it and remove it from the Preview

  3. NOTE: The graphics are not immediately removed from the scene.

  4. If you are happy with the appearance in Preview, click the "Send Live" button to apply the selected graphics to the scene.

  5. The graphics will disappear in Studio.
