Studio and Green Room include keyboard shortcuts to control your slide presentations. Whether a guest presenter or a host managing production, you can advance or go back through slides quickly, without shifting focus.
Presenters can stay engaged with their message while producers maintain smooth control over the show. Shortcuts are a simple way to create seamless, confident presentations for everyone involved.
In this article, we will review the use of keyboard shortcuts in the Green Room and Studio when sharing slides.
Hosts in the Studio and Guests or Guest Directors in the Green Room can advance slides using Shift + Left Arrow/Shift + Right Arrow keyboard shortcuts. The exact placement of these keys will vary based on your keyboard model.
Studio
By default, the keyboard shortcuts will control the slide deck in the currently selected scene.
If there is no slide deck in the selected scene, the keyboard shortcuts will control the slide deck uploaded to the session. This can be useful if you want to “pre-navigate” to start a scene on a slide that isn’t the first slide.
If there are multiple slide decks in the session, the keyboard shortcuts will control the slide deck in the currently selected scene, if there is one, or the FIRST slide deck that was uploaded to the session if there is no deck in the current scene.
Green Room
By default, the keyboard shortcuts will control the slide deck currently shared in the Green Room.
If multiple slide decks have been shared in the Green Room, the guest can select the deck they want to control from the available decks that have been uploaded. A badge will appear on the deck that the keyboard can control.
