Welcome to the Recording Booth for Desktop, your streamlined recording area for capturing high-quality video, anytime. Whether you're recording thought leadership content, internal messages, or customer-facing videos, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started. From setup to recording tips, we’ve got you covered so you can create polished content easily and confidently.
Recording Booth Guide for Desktop
Click the Recording Booth link you’ve received and grant permission to access your camera and microphone. Once you enter the Booth, you’ll find all recording settings and controls below your camera preview.
The most important control is the Record button, your starting point for capturing great content.
If you're using a script, click the teleprompter icon to the right of the microphone. Paste your script or notes into the pop-up window. You can customize the font size, scroll speed, and width to suit your preference.
For the most natural delivery, we recommend keeping the window narrow to minimize noticeable horizontal eye movement.
When you're ready, click the Record button to begin. A 5-second countdown will appear. Use this moment to prepare. Start speaking naturally or open the teleprompter to follow your script.
When you're done, simply click the Record button again to stop the take.
After finishing your recording, a pop-up will appear with your completed take. From this view, you can preview, rename, delete, or upload the video. If you prefer, you can also upload it later when exiting the Recording Booth.
To record another take, simply close the pop-up by clicking the X, then click Record to start again.
Once you've finished your recording, click the red hang-up icon to leave the Recording Booth.
You'll be directed to an exit page where you can complete your session.
Keep this page open until all recordings have been fully uploaded. Once it's ok to close your browser window, you'll see a “Uploads Complete” confirmation.
