Introducing the Teleprompter Green Room and Recording Booth


Whether you are recording alone or with a Producer present, having a script available for reference can support quality recordings. The teleprompter prompts those recording content with a visual script showing content creators what they need to say, word for word. In Socialive, the teleprompter can be used for recording sessions within the Green Room and Recording Booth. 


This article will provide steps for using the teleprompter in the Green Room or Recording Booth.



Green Room 

  1. Click the open teleprompter icon. 

  1. Paste or type the script into the teleprompter popup; it’s recommended to paste it. As long as there is no Socialive sign out, the teleprompter content will be stored for 24 hours and disappear after that timeframe.

  1. The teleprompter can be moved using the icon at the top of the teleprompter or resized using any corner. 

  1. The size of the onscreen text can be updated using the size slider. 

  1. The speed of playback can be updated using the playback slider. 

  1. Click play to start the teleprompter. Once play is selected, the pause icon is available to pause it. 

  1. To close the teleprompter, click close teleprompter. 


Recording Booth 

  1. Click the open teleprompter icon. 

  1. Paste or type the script into the teleprompter popup; it’s recommended to paste it. As long as there is no Socialive sign out, the teleprompter content will be stored for 24 hours and disappear after that timeframe.
