Adding dynamic flourishes to your video helps keep your audience engaged with your content. We are excited to announce the release of video and audio overlays so you can easily add light touches that make your videos stand out to your audience.
What’s New
- Introducing the overlays tab: formerly the graphics tab in studio, this section now houses all audio and video overlays, as well as static graphics
- Audio overlays: add audio to any scene for background music or sound effects
- Video overlays: add video to any scene like animated logos or countdowns
- Resize graphics: adjust the size of a graphic directly in Studio
Audio overlays
Here are a few ways you can add audio overlays to your broadcast:
Background music
Use background music to present something and/or keep the audience engaged when the presenters aren’t speaking. For example, play a background track while the audience completes a poll question.
Sound effects
Consider adding sound effects to spice up certain moments in your recording. For example, use an applause track during a company town hall to celebrate a promotion or work anniversary to create a sense of merriment and camaraderie.
Video overlays
Here are two ways you can incorporate video overlays into your broadcast.
Countdown clocks
Use a countdown clock to generate urgency and excitement in the lead up to a big announcement or a special giveaway.
Animated Graphics
Similar to sound effects, consider adding visual effects to add flourishes to your video. For example, use confetti when celebrating a new hire.
