Download a Constant Frame Rate (CFR) MP4 File from Any Recording in Your Library

Some of the recordings captured in Socialive are Variable Frame Rate (VFR). While most video players and programs (like VLC and Quicktime) can play VFR video without issue, some video editing applications like Adobe Premiere are designed for Constant Frame Rate (CFR) video. With VFR footage, the audio and video may drift out of sync during the editing process, presenting obstacles in post-production.

For those interesting in post-production editing, now you can export any recording to a Constant Frame Rate (CFR) MP4 file. There's no need to manually convert videos with an external transcoder like Handbrake.

How it works

Simply go to any recording or clip in your library and select Export to MP4. For a step-by-step guide to exporting video, read exporting you recordings and clips to MP3 and MP4.
