Now with iOS 14, incoming calls from your iPhone, FaceTime, and third-party apps will display in a compact design at the top of the screen instead of taking up the full screen. However, this might be distracting when participating in a live broadcast from your iOS device. This article goes over the steps to enable Do Not Disturb.

Environment

The steps below apply to:

  • iPhones using iOS 14

  • iPads using iPadOS 14

Process

  1. Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb.

  2. Under Silence, make sure it is set to Always.

  3. Under Phone, make sure it is set to No One.

  4. Under Repeated Calls, make sure it is disabled.

Now, whenever you enable Do Not Disturb on your device, all of your incoming calls will go straight to voicemail and your stream will be uninterrupted.

To enable Do Not Disturb before the broadcast, simply swipe down from the top-right corner of your device and tap the moon icon.
