Socialive users can hold one of two roles: Admin, or Broadcaster.
Admin level users:

  • Have complete access to the Socialive Channel and Account
  • Can invite Guest Broadcasters
  • Add & remove Twitter/Periscope account authorizations
  • Add & remove Brightcove account authorizations
  • Upload media assets & overlays
  • Launch new broadcasts
  • Participate in an existing broadcast¬†
  • Create overlays & polls
  • Moderate Facebook comments
  • Access Facebook analytics
  • Access account recordings

Broadcaster level users can:

  • Launch new broadcasts
  • Participate in an existing broadcast¬†
  • Upload media assets & overlays
  • Create overlays & polls
  • Moderate Facebook comments
  • Access Facebook analytics
  • Access account recordings

To edit user roles, log in to the Socialive accounts portal:

Navigate to "Accounts" on the left hand menu:

Navigate to the channel for which you want to modify user roles:

There you'll see all the users in your account:

To edit a user's role, click on the edit icon on the right side of the table:

You can then adjust the use's role as desired:
